Welcome to Key Light ([https://keylight.pro](https://keylight.pro)). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Key Light desktop application, website, and associated services.
By downloading, installing, or using Key Light, you explicitly agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the software.
Key Light is a high-performance Digital Asset Manager (DAM) tailored for the ArchViz, CGI, and 3D production industry, developed and owned by Arch. Kiony Hilario.
Production Release: Effective June 2026, Key Light officially exits its Beta phase and transitions into its Commercial Version 1.0.
To use our services, you must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
To access specific features, license activations, or cloud-sync services, you must create a Key Light account.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree to notify us immediately at hello@keylight.pro of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that provide false data, violate intellectual property, or breach these Terms.
3. Licensing, Subscriptions, and Refund Policy
Evaluation Period: Key Light grants a 14-day evaluation (“Trial”) license to prospective users. This trial is intended solely for testing the software’s compatibility, performance, and features within the user’s specific infrastructure.
Final Sale & No-Refund Policy: Upon the expiration of the trial period or explicit purchase of a commercial license (Pro or Studio), the user acknowledges that they have tested the software and found it fit for their purposes. Therefore, all commercial transactions are strictly final, and no refunds, chargebacks, or returns will be issued under any circumstances once a license key has been generated and bound to the user’s Machine ID.
The software architecture, logical design, user experience workflows, graphic interfaces, database structures, and proprietary engines—specifically including Nexus (automated scanning), Echo (batch utility), Flux (photometric viewer), and Iris (HDRI 360° projection)—are the exclusive intellectual property of Arch. Kiony Hilario, representing over 3,900 hours of specialized conceptual engineering.
AI Disclaimer: While advanced Artificial Intelligence (LLM) models were utilized as technical execution utilities to write code under the direct supervision, design, and logic of the author, this does not grant any third party, platform, or user rights over the software’s core IP.
Restrictions: You strictly agree NOT to:
Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of Key Light.
Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based upon the software.
Distribute, rent, lease, lend, or sublicense the software to unauthorized third parties.
Key Light operates as a featherweight, non-destructive metadata reader.
The application indexes assets without altering, moving, renaming, or modifying your original 3D files, texture paths, or local directories unless explicitly commanded by user action (e.g., through the Echo batch utility).
User Responsibility: You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for maintaining secure, up-to-date backups of all your local assets, hardware storage, and network directories. Key Light does not store your original 3D files on its servers.
“As Is” Clause: Key Light is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” with all faults and without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Third-Party Compatibility: While designed to seamlessly bridge assets into DCC software (such as 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, etc.), Key Light cannot guarantee permanent compatibility with future third-party software updates, plugins, or script modifications beyond our direct control.
Limitation of Damages: In no event shall Arch. Kiony Hilario be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of studio profits, operational downtime, project delays, or corruption of local data) arising out of the use or inability to use Key Light.
These Terms remain effective until terminated by either you or Key Light.
You may terminate these Terms at any time by permanently deleting the software from your devices and cancelling any active subscriptions.
Key Light reserves the right to terminate your access immediately, without prior notice, if you breach any provision of these Terms or engage in illegal or unauthorized software distribution (cracks, unauthorized mirrors, etc.).
We reserve the right to modify these Terms or alter application features at any time to reflect software updates, technical shifts, or legal adaptations. Continued use of Key Light following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country of residence of the owner, Arch. Kiony Hilario. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of said jurisdiction.
